Tis why the yards want punch outs and tons of loose screws in drums.
One of my gravel trucks the box was nearing the end of its life went to work at a scrap yard one criteria I had was that they pay for flats.
When I went to cash my check it bounced, and this was a super class yard, no bottle necks with rail and water transport. went back to the yard office and explained to Ms Woods what had happened with the check she told me to try again in a couple of days as they had just borrowed 5 million from the bank. Couple days later I had cash in hand.
The funny part is that I had a hired hand on the gravel truck while I hauled in the odd scrap car, two weeks later the gates are barred and locked, some of you from B.C. may remember Cleansteel in Surrey owned by Freddy Berman. Within the year Mr. Berman opened a new yard located in Victoria B.C. on Vancouver Island.
