Customer site Gaylord drop-off bin idea

So was doing some thinking. If I get some customers to let me just set a gaylord on their property and use them for their scrap, then
I could just come by and pick them up when full. Something like these.

They are not far from me and dont know what they cost. But wanted more so to run this next idea past you business men.

Part 1

I do not have a forklift so this would cause a problem with loading and unloading full gaylords. My idea was to mount a plate that would be re-enforced on the bottom with a eye bolt.

Then mount HD casters on it so it will roll.

Part 2

Since no forklift, I would have to have a tilt trailer with a winch to pull it onto the trailer.


This would be my (let me drop off a bin and you fill it) service. Roll off dumpster small scale!

Just and idea and wanted to get your guys opinions.

Is this tomfoolery or a decent idea?

ive looked at these same totes alot of times, id ask your regular customers and see what they say, how are you taking care of them now, will this make it easier on them, remember its all about the custormer

we use 55 gallon drums with the lids cut off. Spray paint our name and phone number on them. We have them at several different types of places. From computer repair stores to thrift stores. We can scoop them up with our dolly and load them in our trailer with a ramp in no time. Cost is anywhere from free to 10 dollars ea.

55 Gal. Drums are my other idea that I had for a unit to drop off. And that way it wouldnt be so much to sort and haul around. Might start with that we shall see.
