BurlyGuys, my brother just sold his car dolly to my brother last year. I used it alot more than they had or will do. It was plated as a trailer. If I remember correctly. I can ask him later about it. Kinda late now. I have only towed one vehicle from Ohio to Ypsilanti MI that was unplated. I had no problems towing it from Cincinnati ohio to ypsilanti. Just as long as you explain that you just bought the car there should be no issue!
Just my experience in Michigan!
Looks nice buddy. Hopefully she makes you a bunch of money, enough to upgrade and upgrade.

So four cars now with the tow dolly. In those four cars I have learned:
1.) Always ask before going if the tires are all inflated and present.
2.) Always carry a tank to inflate tires, because people lie or don't know that their tires are low.
3.) Inspect the car for completeness before buying. (One had the cat removed and I discovered it at my shop.)
4.) Look up values of things. My guys didn't want to remove taillights on the 86 Cougar because it was too old. I said let me check. On eBay completed listings show a minimum of $50 each. Yeah, remove the friggin' taillights!
5.) Catalytic convertors have a WIDE range of values and I deal with a buyer who explains the differences to me. It pays to have a good relationship with your buyers!
6.) They are a great place to throw shred items and save yourself trips to the yard!
7.) I found a buyer who will give me higher value than the scrap yard for aluminum rims.
8.) Same buyer will also buy the tires!
9.) Put a winch on the dolly and save your back and your strength.
I'm sure more will occur to me later!
