    Opportunity knocks!

    Hello Everyone!

I am brand new as of today, my ignorance knows no bounds, so I hope I posted this in the right place! Read the rules, but still I am a bit unsure where this should go.

In a nutshell, here is the situation.

Through an odd combination of events, I suddenly find myself with TRUCKLOADS of scrap computers at nearly no cost to me. Further, I can get yet more truckloads of computers for very low costs. FURTHER, I find myself with a willing workforce that gets paid peanuts and LOVES to take stuff apart. Last, said workforce will sort everything and disassemble it to whatever level I specify.

My only costs involved in sorting the scrap into say, Steel, Aluminum, Wires & Electronics is really shipping. Being as the workforce will palletize everything, my shipping costs are relatively cheap. (I can ship 1,000 pounds anywhere is USA for around $200)

That pretty much opens the world up to me!

My scraping operation went from a backyard, "Wonder what my car battery is worth?" to an industrial machine- that operates at ridiculously low costs. Further, my customers will bring the raw materials to ME at no costs.

Ok, I know that all sounds too good to be true, but let's talk and you will see it is totally legit.

My name is Jeff and I moved to the town of Valley City about a year ago. I am exactly an hour from Fargo, ND. (Fargo as in "Microsoft" Fargo.) I have always been fascinated by scraping and when I went through 2 & 1\2 years of unemployment in Arizona, I got to really know my way round refrigerators, microwaves, TV’s etc.

Though I am a Systems Administrator by trade, I had a heck of a time finding anyone to buy E-Scrap. All my local scrap yards wanted the aluminum and steel, but scratch their heads at electronics in any form.

And then I stumbled across CJ Environmentals, "Gold, Gold, Gold, bonanza!" advertisements about E-Scrap. Well now that I am educated, I won't be turning them onto my find here.

But after my lesson from CJ, I began to search for a real vendor to buy my E-Scrap and give me a fair price. Hence my membership here!

    Now as to quantities...

As I mentioned, truckloads are no joke. Now picture those truckloads of PC's broken down into pallets of Steel, Aluminum, Wires and most of all, E-Scrap. Things like motherboards, video cards, peripherals, hard drive controller cards, memory chips and CPU's. Steel, Aluminum and Wires can be recycled easily at a scrap yard in Fargo. I can sell the E-Scrap there too- at a decent price.

    But,

What I really want to do is develop a good business relationship with a trustworthy buyer\processor. Someone who will take the time to educate me about the stuffs real value. Bear in mind, it costs me very little to break down the scrap, so new levels of high value scrap might become available.

In return, I am willing to of course sell you the scrap at a good price. Further, I am willing to pay for specific advice on particular questions.

Lastly, there is a potential opportunity to come to this town and setup a complete refining operation- and have someone else pay for it.

There are lots of details to work out, but suddenly there is real money and real people with said money willing to fork it over to the right people!

So let's talk! You can send me a PM and we can go from there.

Real opportunity here, no joke, no "Come on seven!" type of situation. At the very least I still have truckloads of sorted scrap to sell!

Now I hope I posted this in the right place! I ran afoul earlier, even though I read the rules. If it's not the right place, just let me know and I will delete it and repost.

Thanks and hope to hear from you all soon!

    Jeff
