What is going on with some of the new buyers recently?

You must always comment on things dont you . Just because you are OLD DUDE doesnt mean you have some great advice to dole out to members on here..I prefer to help out people one on one instead of trying to rack up thanks on here with statements that actually say nothing
1.Yes it is my business and its run quite well thank you
2.You dont have time to call someone? Try not making snarky comments on here once a day and youll have more time to use the phone
3. No offense? Of course offense was meant or you wouldnt of said it
4. None of my customers are to small...Quality of material and relationship is more important
5. Have a good Night

I'm just a small independent scrapper t6rying to make a living. I don,t have time to call those who don,t post prices and negotiate over a few cents a lb. so i,m apparently too small for your business any way so it is a moot point.

no offense but your post sounded a little arrogant considering there are many sss ( survival, supplemental, scrappers) out there. I clearly stated twice in that post ,it was just my choice and my opinion,

I prefer to be more direct, and for people to deal with me more directly. There is something to be said for a person who is willing to lay exactly what they think right on the line.

From what I can tell, a person knows exactly where they stand with olddude. He seems to be straightforward and honest. Regardless if I agree with him or not on any given subject, I can respect a man like that.

And so far as the thanks thing is concerned, I would like to think people thank because they find a post informative or useful in some way, or at the very least they are showing their support for another person's view. Obviously olddude has a lot of people who agree with him and have thanked him. I don't really think the thanks someone has accumulated is an issue, I'm not sure why you brought that up. It kind of seems like the same situation when a woman cheats on her husband with another man that didn't realize she was married and the husband goes after the other man, instead of divorcing the woman.

My personal opinion is that your comment about olddudes thanks was over the top.
