    Copper hits record high

    How many are watching the London Metal Exchange (LME)? Copper just passed its old record price. Makes me feel justified for hoarding copper for the last year.
    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    The copper prices at my scrap yard could have fooled me. $2.85 for #1 (compared to well over $3 a year ago)

    Yup! copper spot price is over $4.20 per pound. My yard's prices jumped from $3.00 to $3.35 yesterday.
