    So your a college student that wants to get into scrapping during the summer. Let me give you some advice if you don't mind. First of all this is a business like no other. There is no one that is going to help you other than this forum, this is a very cutthroat business. Like said above no one is going to take you by the hand, do your research, ask alot of questions at the scrap yard. second; be ready because scrapping will get in your blood and you won't be able to stop. I know people that was going to college and started scrapping to help pay for college and never went back to college and they are making more money scrapping than they would if they had finished college. Now to answer your question, I had little to no experience when I first started out six years ago. I am now full time, my bills are paid and food on the table.
