30# of cell phones your better off leaving them whole.
I have never torn them down to do an actual test, but I just can't fathom that tearing them down gets better money. Especially if you have a buyer that pulls sellable phones and pays a higher rate on those. Even without that, I am pretty sure it is a losong proposition to tear them down.

i process the boards into trimmings, it pays better that way, the way i look at it is if im gonna take the time to do the teardowns i am also gonna take the time to process the boards

I'm here to do the slamming LOL..........We have ran the numbers to many times..........unless you are going to "trim" these boards like my friend does (He likes the tedious stuff I think) It is best to sell whole to your regular buyer

We get 3.00/ lb for them, batteries and all. Just fill up the tub and drive it over. The trick is get all the guys to leave the batteries in them.
You can actually get the most not even taking the battery out. When you figure the weight of the batteries, we offer far more for units with the backs and batteries as opposed to no backs and batteries.
