Got a lot of old cooking pots and pans the other day. What would you guys classify those as for scrap? Some are magnetic some aren't.

Magnetic=Shred unless they are cast iron then they would probably sell for more then scrap value. Others are typically aluminum and you can remove steel and handles to get aluminum sheet or turn them in as is for contaminated aluminum.

dirty aluminum, if you remove the handles and steel might be able to get clean aluminum
i have about 40 pounds ive accumulated from the curb, i haul aluminum every other year so not going to turn in for awhile
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE
some non magnetic are stainless, those should be noticeably heavier for their size
find any copper ones?
Magnetic = steel pile
Cast Alum if clean
Dirty Alum if not
Stainless Steel as long as it is non magnetic
& Copper would be very nice to find!!!!
Yeah I actually found 3 copper pans, and a copper like drink serving set. Ones pretty tarnished up, but the others are nice and bright.
The copper ones might be worth more than scrap
