Let me say this to the OP, not only have you p o'ed a good portion of this forum, you also lost the interest of the one person that could have helped you. I will say this for Noblemetalworks, when he says he is interested in your business and how you started it he is not bull****ting you. I have had dealings with Scott and have sought out advice from him in the past, which he has freely given to me. He is very knowledgeable and genuine in his responses and is willing to share information with anyone he can help.
So in closing I would like to say this to the OP and quote a favorite movie line--- Sir, in a battle of wits you have come unarmed.

    Craaazy this thread.

When this went down hill you shoulda just apologized and moved on. Instead of you know..trying to troll everyone.

    An to clarify..

I'm not hating, just shaking my head at the lack of effin' common sense shown here.

    and second.

No, I don't want be you, or do what you do in anyway. I do my own thing thank ya. I got a good wife, good dogs, hell I even like my cats, live On a sandbar off the coast of the mainland and the ocean three blocks away. My life is just peachy. I respect many but I envy none, as I'm happy with my life. If nobody else does that's ok..they don't walk in my shoes. An no, I don't pay out the nose to live here, actually cheaper for me here then in the big city I used to live! Heh.

So yea..at the end of the day, you can measure your success by how much you make, your level an titles, but don't measure mine by it.

What makes one man happy likely po's the next off.

You can PM me if you would like, I don't block anyone, you don't have to friend me, I'm very public and out in the open.

If you are going to message me about mirrors however, I don't recover silver from mirrors. Most of the new mirrors don't use silver, and the ones that have been made with silver are expensive to start with and usually very ornate, and hold their value.

Now if you wanted to talk about x-ray film, that's a totally different story and a much better avenue for generating silver from scrap.

At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes--an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new. Thank you for saying this, I feel funny whenever someone says something about me, but I also feel I should thank you. When someone says something about me like this, it makes me want to come back and try to help a lot more. So truly thank you. And while I'm thanking, you have done a fair bit to help me as well, and according to how other people talk about you, you have helped many people yourself. So while giving me thanks, take some yourself.

I'm lucky, where I live I used to own a grocery store. Whenever I caught shoplifters, no matter what their age being that they were kids, or adults, I made them call their mothers, then I would talk to their mothers for a few minutes, and turn the phone back over to the shoplifter and watch them explain to their mother how they just got caught for shoplifting. You see I would give them the choice of either calling their mother, or I could call the police. When I did call the police I usually had already made the shoplifter admit that they came into my store with the intent of stealing, and it was usually over $400 worth of stuff, which is a felony in California, so by making sure I had them on a felony shop lifting, and a felony intent to steal, I made it worth the police officers time and effort to come down to the store and arrest the offender, the way they saw it was that they were sure to get a conviction instead of the usual ticket, release for a petty crime and later have it reduced to something that just required probably or community service. Police don't like being harassed for no good reason, or for what is a waste of time when they could be doing something more useful. So I got to know them, and they appreciate the fact I didn't call them on every little thing.

So far as the harassment thing is concerned, I don't think the OP realizes what he was saying, nor what he was doing. When I was looking up his business I came across another by the same name.

Green Truck - Organic Food Truck, Catering, Weddings, Private Parties

The OP would be far more likely to be sued for using their company name, and then posting what he has on this thread, than I would be for harassing. I am not sure how many different laws he could be entangled with, but with all the negative attention I have to wonder if someone will not get one confused with the other, ending up with one of the others customers coming here and reading what he wrote and potentially harming their business and/or credibility.

    Just saying...

Thank you for looking out, it's appreciated.

I ended up knowing who he is, he's good people, he just doesn't want to be involved with some of the things that happen on this forum and I can't blame him for that.

Just wanted to clear that up, and thank you for looking out.

    Wow.

I was going to say that this thread had turned into a morass of stupid... but upon reflection, I'd have to say it pretty much started there.
