    Educating the scrap yard...

I started going through my low grade board boxes yesterday, pulling transformers, heat sinks, etc. I decided I should call my yard and see if they buy boards and what was acceptable, preferred left on or removed.
The girl spoke with was clueless on the board question. But had the boss call me back this morning. He said they won't accept brown boards at all. They would accept green boards "from computers", not from tv's 'n such @ .10 per pound.
So I asked about ic chips, transformers 'n the copper coils off of low grade boards. He said he really wasn't familiar with what I was talking about, and requested a sample of what I'm wanting to sell. Said they are just trying to break into the electronic recycleing and he isn't well informed.
I instantly saw this as an opportunity to maybe help in his education and possibly put myself in a favorable light for future dealings.
I guess I'm looking for suggestions/ ideas on the best way to approach it to most take advantage of the opportunity.
You guys have always brought out new and better ideas than I came up with on everything I've ever asked.. Thanks fer that
