Welcome to the forum from the Dakota's. The first step is to introduce yourself to the forum. Then use the search options to take advantage of the library. As a member you have a library card.

Next reach deep, be creative, and create a network. Get your name out there. I recommend that individuals bypass the first level and go for the big players. The first level only creates barriers for the rest of us. As you create networks and expand your business, you will be amazed by the opportunities available to the average peddler. Just my perspective.

Save up some money(won't take much) and have some business cards and fliers printed. On your fliers put on them what your looking for and not just electronics. Make a list of electronics like computer towers, servers, ups back ups and so no. Make sure you have your contact info on them. Then go to every business you can and hand them out and tell people at the businesses what your doing. It might take a while but the calls will start comming in. You will be suprised to see that people will be glad someone is willing to take thiere unwanted stuff off thiere hands.

You can put that style up in laundrymats and grocery stores, anywhere that has a bulletin board.
This might help also if your on a budget.
    http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/scrap...ess-cards.html

I started out hitting up yard/garage sales in the warm weather, handing out my cards and offering to haul away their leftovers. The clothes and knick-knacks went to a non profit and old electronics got recycled and anything good got added to my wife's yard sale.
2 years later and I still get an occasional call from that first handout.
