Requirements specific to e waste recycling businesses in PA

I am interested in starting a business in e-scrap recycling, I know I will have to get a business license, however I am wondering if there any additional requirements regarding running this kind of business? I have taken a look on google but its turning up little relevant information. If anyone has any experience in these matters, help would be most appreciated

    Thank you!

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Depending on the size of your operation, and your local laws, you may not need a single license. Where our sop is located, and the county we operate in, we had $0 start up cost.

J, I had a similar question and am running into similar problems. I tried to send a PM but am unable to. Maybe you could send me a PM and we could talk?

    Angry

Check the township ordinances before attempting this.
In most localities, it's illegal to operate any kind of new salvage business ( Sandy Township, Snyder Township e.t.c. ). In some areas they will allow you to build, than sue you just before you open ( DuBois is famous for doing this ) .
I attribute this to "not in my backyard syndrome", were most of this flippig state is anti industrial.
