That is a good bit of information on how the EPA regards waste. Good to have in case overzealous people want to start snooping around your facility and don't know the true definitions of ewaste or hazardous waste. Thanks for sharing.
An interesting read. Like most information regarding computer and electronic recycling, it is confusing and contradictory to itself. "It is not hazardous waste, but it is, but not really, but is".
I wonder where does the vacuum go once it's released?
Interesting Read. Thanks for sharing

at the moment we deal with a few regulated wastes in my line of work,,,,off the top of my head...ASBESTOS,LEAD,MERCURY,PCB'S,BLACK MOLD,RADIOCTIVE, and beryllium...there is one more of those heavy metals that i cant think of off the top of my head ...anyhow the last time i had a hazwhopper refresher course our instructor told us that in the next 3 years that FLY ASH will be considered a regulated hazardouse chemical and it will have to be handled and disposed of accordingly ....
anyone who has ever been in a power house could only imagine the troubles this would cause any coal burner....fly ash is from the spent coal and coke that is burnt up in power plants..and it is everywhere in the plant...the older plants have this stuff pilled up by the tons and it just piles up all over the place...it leaks and oozes from anywhere it can all the time....
all my life ive been told fly ash contains a very small amount of arsnic but not enough to hurt you...any time you ask they say youd have to eat a dump truck of it to hurt you...my point of this rambling post is...its been safe for me to breathe, eat, and live in the stuff for 15 years and now its deadly.....i brought that point up to a saftey man and he replied " ah they though asbestos was great at one time ole buddy"
sorry for the threrad high jack i enjoyed the little read...my speech is over
