I just have them come to the house
there are so many No Shows, At least meeting them at the house I can be doing other things that need to be done

I don't text >> I only do phone calls and eMails

I do both craig and eBay equally > I make money on both or wouldn't be doing them

Very nice furniture. I would think it could easily be in an office as well as a house. Mike.

eBay takes some serious planning to alleviate the stress. I have found that monthly withdraws as opposed to weekly, good communication with the buyer. A good template for listings, a good inventory system, an easy return policy and a built-in 5% loss on sales into you prices (this allows you to return $40 without feeling like your being taken advantage of). The most important thing however is to pick the types of customers you want. If you are a lowest price type of seller then you are inviting the cheapest most problematic type of buyers. I don’t care if the item I’m selling was free, the price will reflect it’s worth and will sit at that price for 12 months if need be until it sells. Take pride in your testing, in your shipping, in your prices, in your storing, in your returns and the stress levels will remain low.

I've found that if i stay in real-time text contact with people, they show up. I won't head out to the meeting place if we aren't currently texting at the time.

I'm much more comfortable texting, than talking on the phone. I don't like actual talking to strangers, unless I absolutely have to, for some reason.

Emails are okay to start with, but then I prefer to move quickly on to texting.

It's good that we all have different methods; it makes us develop niche areas when selling. I deal with those who text.
