    granulator service

    Anyone know of a granulator near west central Florida? I'd like to have my wire granulated so I can sit on it.

    Sit on the wire or the granulator? Sorry couldn't help myself, but I think most buy the wire as the investment in the machine is expensive!

    Let's say you had your wire granulated. Does your scrap yard buy granulated copper?

    Granulated copper requires special handling that most scrap yards aren't willing to deal with. And other than granulators, who else is going to have granulated copper for sale?

    None of the scrap yards around me list granulated copper as an item they purchase.

    Of course they will buy it, its copper is it not? Even if its not listed does not mean they won't buy it. Number 2 copper. Same as stranded or varnished.
