    Biting the Bullet

I have outgrown my nice office space in the basement of a doctor's office building
I rented a 1,000 sq.ft warehouse space with basic heat, electric & a loading dock.
It is near my main office space (which I am keeping) and my home (keeping that, too)
I will now be able to process my ewaste and use gaylords, pallets, & a forklift or pallet stacker.
Oh, yes! Now I can make noise with my air compressor & air tools!
I'm giving myself 6 months to make this warehouse space profitable.
I have several customers sending me a fair amount of telecom equipment and happily, I needed more space to make it work!
I set up an account with PENSKE, too. I recently sold my box truck & I find I am needing a truck every few weeks. (My Ecoinoline van just isn't big enough for these loads)
You can negotiate a much better rate & mileage charge when you set up an account, and you can rent hourly for up to 3 hours!

    Just sharing my latest (mis)adventure
Time for a sip of Crown Royal.....

I'm excited to get the new facility set up!
Today I took in a 26 ft truck full of equipment.
Two pallets of commercial UPS units, chock full of lead acid batteries.
They are about 3' wide by 3' high & 10" across.
They are so heavy that I could not lift one onto its wheels without a helper, and I'm a pretty big guy.
I am on a revenue share arrangement with the client, but holy cow!

Pics of the new place buddy, we might have a second clubhouse now!

    Congrats on the upgrade.

Running equipment is part of the fun. I love moving machinery out of windbreaks with my skidsteer, arranging and loading it on the trailer. I rip alot of radiators out of cars and combines with it, fold grain bin panels after tearing them down......just fun to watch the brute strength of the equipment. Loading will be more fun now with a forklift.

I do a fair amount of local work, but...
I now have the ability to buy surplus commercial telecom systems & equipment across the country with the help of my affiliates
Other than telecom: I am always open to anything interesting that comes along

This sounds very EPROMising... ;-) Congratulations on your new setup. It sounds as if you had to upsize your plant to keep up with your volume, not the other way around, so you ought to feel confident about this move. You would have been limiting your growth if you hadn't made it. So now you get to enjoy some of the fruits of your labor by playing with some new guy toys and running your air compressor whenever you want!

Spin has a nice new buddy... We're not going to see him around much anymore. He's just going to hang out with Raymond.
