That's a great question. I learned from following my competition, figuring out the times they go around. Then, i set a time that is before their schedule, and in the opposite direction. That way if they are running their course and you get there later, go closer to the end of their route before they get there. My times here at home is 4:00 then retrace my tracks at 6:00 then call it quits. I found that to be the best time. Recently, i have contacted apartment owners so I am alot more busy with those places, but i still do curb shopping. I try to get my picking homework done before the big spring cleanup.
