I have an opportunity to pick up 5 to 6, 55 gal drums mixed of used motor oil, transmission fluid and antifreeze. is this even worth the efforts?
Thanks in advance.

If I read that right and you are saying those liquids are mixed together in 5 different barrels, do not take it. To dispose of those liquids when mixed together will cost you money. They can't be filtered and cleaned and resold. If you are saying that each barrel has a different liquid then my thoughts are this. The used motor oil you could probably find a buyer for. The transmission oil I don't know as I have never ran into someone who buys it to recycle. The antifreeze can be sold. You might be able to sell to an end buyer in your quantities, you just have to call and try. If not there are middlemen who usually take the stuff for free but you might be able to get them to buy, especially if you have two barrels of anti-freeze. I hope this helps a little. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will pipe in

i can sell oil, brake fluid, and transmission fluid, even if all mixed together....however if the antifreeze was mixed with them it would make them worthless to my buyers......if i trust the source ill take oil and transmission fluid from folks.....my neighbor runs a transmission shop,,,he heats it with flamable auto fluids....
