New York - Questions on what I can do with what I have

    Hello all,

I am with a company in Central New York and I am looking for advice on what I can do with all the plastic and fans that we have built up.

I have found a home for every other component but these two. Any advice on what I can do with them? I really just want them gone. Not looking to get anything for them.

    Thanks everyone,

    -Baron

As in computer fans? There are people on this forum that purchase them as scrap I believe. Also many scrap yards have pricing for them and some let you sell them as electric motors...

Where in cny? There may be a local member that would be interested, or has a connection. There are a few of us wandering around the forums.
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

im in CT. what do you think the fans are worth. I usually save those for a angry day or for my girl, she enjoy smashing them with a small double sledge lol.

One of my yards takes them as electric motors which is really nice. They pile up fast while I'm breaking computers down, especially if I'm tearing apart power supplies

My yards don't want them, so we smash the motors out & break off the blades.
Then they take them as motors.
Not a high profit use of my time, however

My yard buys them for about 1/2 the electric motor price.
