Just for your intrest, since I did it last week.
I stripped out 20kg (44lb) of Copper #2 from CRT degaussing cables of all sizes (diameter) from TV's (mostly 29 inch & 'Trinatron' sort).
It took me 5 hours.
This was done by hand, cutting the plastic coated wire out with a boxcutter knife, then pulling out a few strands of copper and ripping it out thru the whole length of the cable, by hand.
Then picking off the insulation tape as a strip.
Betyah its quicker with a wire stripper...
