When I was in school and we'd party. After everyone was passed out around 5am I would walk the party streets and pick up cans. You can make some serious cash doing it but it does take a bit of work.
I wasn't the only one out doing this as I had a few competitors almost every time bu never really mattered because after a huge party night their is enough scrap cans to go around.
The problem now is that I no longer live close enough to a campus for it to still be profitable otherwise I'd still be doing it.
