There ain't nothing wrong with an honest days work. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.- Old Man
congrats Spinroch!
We have meat & fish wholesalers, restaurants, Tim Horton's coffee factory (Maidstone Coffee), a hard cider distillery, Sticky Lips Barbecue, Taco Bell, you name it. Then there is us, the tech guys in the middle. I love our power loading dock. Currently, as Gorven predicted, our 4,000 sq.ft. is too small. I have three guys working between 30 & 40 hours weekly to break down our stuff. More people, more drama! Now, the surplus sales have my attention. If I could only put in 24 hours per day, it might work out.
just like the saying goes... a day is never long enough

What pray tell is a Roly Door? An on April Fools you should change his sign to "Holy Roly Door".
Well done buddy.
Soon as I finish the time machine I'll send you one to test for me, then you can be in two places at once!

Spin,
Are the surplus auctions treating you well? Most of what I see are overpriced, unless you are getting more than scrap value. Then you stand the risk of having the problem Army spoke of.
Just out of curousity, are those servers and racks in your photo from a surplus auction that I saw out your way (Elmira)?

Cool sign. Love the eporn. Dig ur web page too.
Love the spintastic Sir. But he really is!
Roly Door: A local conglomerate that owns lots of overhead door companies. He has over 100,000 sq.ft. in the complex.
Flux Capacitor: I know I saw one in here somewhere...
Auctions: I haven't been to or bid on one yet. All from private customers.
Mall Sign: We are located in a regional market complex: 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space. My shop was part of a meat and fish wholesaler that moved out. I spent the first few weeks with a scissor lift, a spray degreaser and a power washer, cleaning every square inch of the place. It's Centrally located and the rent, while not cheap, is very reasonable. We finally got heat installed while the outside temp was 5 degrees! The complex is fully rented now!
Spintastic: Heeheeeheeee!
Sirscrapalot: He is SMF's grand wizard.

"Hanging out your own shingle" is a good feeling, considered a sign of a professional. As I know how hard it is, Congratulations Spin and keep up the hard work. To steal some of Sirs fame, I'll quote a man I admired, "It's the little details that are vital, little things make BIG things happen" John Wooden the Wizard of Westwood.
Always wanted a storefront but didn't necessarily want to be tied down to having to be there everyday. I got to admit though I'm jealous.
Congrats and Good Luck!

We are not a retail operation, so it's all good! We don't have to be there all the time.
