Black widows, wolf spiders, etc...there a long line of nasty critters out there to keep an out for.
Side note..those of you out in the SW keep in mind spiders, but also Scorpions. Those little buggers just love to hide in a shoe or anywhere that is dark.

Hey we have all that here in Florida as well. In SW FL, there are wolf spiders the size of your hand. Widows and recluse are everywhere in the state. Here in the north central area we have lots of scorpions. Fortunately they are small, about 2-3 inches, but the little buggers keep popping out of everywhere. Then there are the snakes, rattlers here and coral snakes in the SW FL and the gators...
I tell you, nature in Florida is a mean ugly thing. Not like up north where all you have is the occasional teddy bear. Down here the bugs will drag you off into the woods...
