"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
Old dude,
what state? I assume down south. Surprised No one asked for clarification.
down in Fl if its free scrap I can drive up its only 481 miles away give or take
It's Birmingham Alabama. has to be picked precisely on the 16th. Jeff (my partner) will be there for security clearance and will move them to the dock and help load. they are at least 8 rack mount cabinets in good condition (a possable resale situation for some one) They are the ones with the glass doors.
Next option is scrap price I'll sell them for .03 at the location.
3rd option a scrap yard open on Saturday in or some one between Birmingham and Troy or Dothan AL
4th option some place to store them over the week end near Birmingham.
This is one of our 3 Fortune 100 customers, a name every one knows, one of the stips in our contract, , is we have to remove items on the date specified with out fail, another is we cant revel any info about who it is.
I need help on this one guys/gals. mcw

Michael, could your partner (with some help) rent a storage unit for some temp storage till something shakes out ?? That way you'd have a month to put your strategy together.
I'd help Olddude, but a bit far of a drive from my sandbar.
Wish you luck, not only so your not in trouble with your client, but also cause of the Tropical Storm forming off the SE, looking to come make landfall this weekend somewhere between NC an below.
So..someone help the man out. Surely there is someone down that way just sitting around hoping a couple servers fall into their lap.
Either way..good luck Olddude. Ever anything between my sandbar an SC feel free to give me a holler.
Sirscrapalot - Boooyah! - NBA Jam
we could but it would just add more cost.
I can drive up a remove them pm me your info if you wanted to talk in less open way like I said not that far relatively so .
if it puts a slight jingle in my pocket even better .
I'm about two hours northwest. Is this simply a pickup item? Meaning you just need someone to remove them from the site? Size and weight of load?
Pm sent
There ya go fellows.
Reach for that brass(ewaste) ring! IT ain't gonna lower it'self!
Hopefully someone helps out Olddude.
Sirscrapalot - Has a traveling cooler he'll rent out with a deposit.

Just racks. I'm a server scraper remember.
Wish I still had the pickup or I'd drive down and get em in a heartbeat - would be worth the trip(know people up and down the coast). I don't think I could fit more then one in the hhr lol.
If they have a good enough value to someone, a rental truck can always be rented if the total makes cents/sense.
I have rented small moving trucks in the past when I came across a "deal" and needed a "handy vehicle".
It all depends on WHAT a person can do with the "load".
One persons scrap is another persons business venture in sales and trade.
Problem solved, thanks every one.
I am glad it worked out! Now for a song... no goats...
The Doors were one of the house bands at the Whiskey A Go Go back in the day While I was working car stunts at American International and others. The line would some times be three or 4 blocks long. Not because of the doors but The ""Whiskey" was the place to be. He didn't have that hair back then. It was obvious in those early days he was going to be big.
