    Bulk Wire Sale to Yard

I've got about 500 pounds of various #2 with plugs wires...it's a mix of types, computer, service, cat5, consumer, light industrial, you name it. The yard said they would pay based on a recovery rate, which seems logical, but there is such a variety that it is hard to even say what it would be. Let's say it went in the average #2 category, 50-75% recovery. What percent might I be paid over off the street pricing for a bulk deal like this? For reference, we average 65c without plugs, 50c with around here. Trying to determine if it is worth it...Thanks!

Call a few yards and tell them how many pounds you have, get the best price and goat from there....

I usually sell about 500 lbs at a time, all mixed like yours, complete with the plugs. I get $0.85-0.90 per lb.
