Typically there are two reasons you will have a bad buyer.
1. Buyer is new and inexperienced. Doesn't have the resources or time to dedicate to your shipment.
2. Is trying to buy your stuff to flip it without having the cash on hand to pay you until he sells it. This is the one you should be scared of
Overall, SMF was and has been great for me, and opened up a lot of different outlets for items I didn't have a buyer for locally.
Couldn't have said it any better. The problem with the second grouping is that no matter what you do, they cannot pay. You won't get money, because they simply don't have it. The first group is at least better. When I started buying, I know that I wasn't as efficient as I am now. It took me a little longer to process, because I hadn't figured out the most efficient methods of testing. As I did, processing times improved. But, there, at least you have a buyer that isn't trying to avoid paying. They'll still process it, and will pay out. I'd rather wait a day or two as a seller than I would deal with a company that physically had no means to pay me.
