Any market for common household power cords that have been cut off the device?

I've got a ton...well...not quite that much, prob a hundred pounds...worth of common power cords that have been cut off of whatever they were attached to. (common US male 2 prong plug, nema 1-15p style)

Is there any market or buyer for these I'm not thinking of?

Last time I was at the yard close by, they call it dirty copper at .40 cent a pound.

That's a new one to me. Never heard of insulated wire being called dirty copper.

I would get .46 a pound. You'll need to check your local yards and see what they're paying.

The plug ends by me is copper content $.05 - $.15 a pound for the ends, rest of the cord #2 insulated wire price

Go as extension cords here, .30/lb

Sorry, to clarify...I was trying to see if anyone had any ideas other than the scrap yard...like an electronics surplus place, flea market dealers, etc.

While we are on the topic though, cords with no plugs bring .80 a pound here, .60 with plugs, and plugs by themselves are .10 a pound. It's double what it was a few months ago, so the temptation is to get rid of them at the yard, but I'd hate to miss better money down another avenue I'm not thinking of or wasn't aware of.
