Desperate people do desperate things. when a parent hears the crys of their hungry children that is their main focus, honesty and regulations be come less clear to them.
Faith x Needs = Motivation yup yr right.
Old Dude I Agree with you on too Many Rules & Regulations. BUT I Didnt Write The Law Or Pass it through the House for Votes Hell I Didnt even Sign the Bill or Vote For or Against it. I Do have 1 parting Thought " Free Enterprise I Love It"
*cracks beer*
Just here for the beer.
I know you agree mr. it is just that i remember what freedom one was in this country, before the regulators took over. and i miss it with all my heart and sole.
I agree that the lines may get blurred. And I'm not saying I wouldn't do whatever I need to do in order for my family to survive. But blurring the lines and crossing them are two seperate things. But i refuse to believe that as bad as things are, Americans in general terms are that kind of point. (especially with big brothers shoulders to cry on...but that's for another post.) Honest people are becoming scrappers because it's still legal and profitable. If it's not scrapping, it will be something else. Scrapping isn't the only way for people to make money. Just what we focus on here.
Faith x Needs = Motivation. What you're willing to be motivated to do, is a different matter. I will work my a$$ off 80hr weeks if that's what it would take. Dishonesty is not an option, it is a scape goat.
Just my two cents
If the government could regulate and do a good job of it I might be for it, but I have a tough time coming up with anything the government does well. During the peak of my const business I had between 15-20 employees with full benefits depending volume of work, then the flood gates opened and illegal aliens poured in and drove prices down to what I was charging in 1990. Supposedly there are laws against people coming here illegally but the government doesnt care, they look the other way and I have lost my faith that they will actually follow through, when they say they are going to make it better by regulating it. I have 1 employee now, me.
Sorry Kris Kringle, kinda went off in a different direction there, venting I think they call it. Bottom line for me is I don't mind showing and having on record a valid ID and I don't mind if the yards want to police themselves by having some of these rules in place, but I would prefer the government stay out of it.

"Give them enough so they can do something with it, but not too much that they won't do nothing."
The government is far too involved in our lives as it is.
they will just give them all a raise so they can afford to buy bootleg piss. and I m sure the ACLU, and the Southern poverty law center are still to be heard from.
On a Side Note Don't get me started on the ACLU Or The Affirmative Action Bull Crap Or Yeh Obammy Either lolololol
