How to register our business on Ontario business registry

Hello guys, I need some advice from you all. I have a mental recycling shop in Ontario, Canada. I want to register my business in the Ontario business registry? Is it ok to register there? What are the pros and cons of the registration? How much time need for the total process? For this, should any legal formalities?
