I'm working on a deal to get 27 pallets of expired energy drink. According to the dude I've been working with, these pallets have 144 cases (24 cans to a case) or 3,456 cans per pallet. Total is 93,312 cans and according to this guy, he gets about 27 cans per pound.
Thats 3,456 pounds of cans! I figure at .71 a pound it's worth $2,453.76.
I was thinking of offering the guy $1,000 for the soda since I have to empty them (I'd probaby try to build some sort of crusher for this) and haul it. Heck, it's probably even drinkable maybe I could sell some of it as is.
Have any of you ever run across something like this before? Any experiences with that many cans is appreciated.
