We just picked up a line on a few thousand lbs of magnesium turnings... never handled/moved this before. Any idea of spot price on this and how to handle it?
Thanks

Hope they are dry...if there is any moisture they cannot be put into furnace...hot mag and moisture dont mix..it goes boom!
Is this safe to transport in gaylords if dry?
In a plastic factory where I was working as a temp running a grinder, they used gaylords and I would put a large(real large) plastic bag inside. Then I would fill the gaylord level with ground plastic and I would take the excess plastic and fold it over and tape, then the second gaylord could be stacked on top.
Don't store it with iron oxide!
