Perhaps it is your best interest to go where your busines model fits best. I think running 100 lbs is less economical. May be in your best interest just to do an outright purchase of the material.

i like the idea of taking a yield% of bare millings in exchange for insulated, plus the .50/lb processing fee. i think you could do well for the locals depending on what they bring you.
As you said, Jim, you would need to keep a certain amount of chop around for trade, but it would be a valuable service to the independent scrapper, and would provide you with realistic margins to work with.
