report card on first ewaste sale:

sent 115 lbs mostly Mother boards of course

100 lbs mother boards 15 lbs of other cards.

help from the company: they did most every thing, I just filled and packed the boxes, they arranged shipping, provided lables, arranged pick up
    grade A+

used Fedex. shipping was prompt but it was a little pricey in my opinion i HAVE BEEN REMINDED THAT SHIPPING PRICES ARE NOT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE CUSTOMER, anything ewasted had to do with the shippng was A+

    Grade A+

total of 10 days from first contact with the co to the check in my hand
1 day of that were my fault, and 4 days were week end days, so we are really looking at 5 working days.

    grade A

prices were as good as any one else I have found and were completely dependable

    Grade A+

    total grade A

next load I will try one of the other members here as long as the pricing is close.

Company name : Cash for computer scrap by Ewasted

Good to know. Thanks. My buyer that is on the forum, will keep it anonymous, left me with a bad taste in my mouth last time. Not really pricing or anything, just attitude. Maybe I caught him on a off day or something, who knows. But I was looking into another avenue. Thanks for posting this.

OZ: I may get booted off the forum when and if it happens but I see it as my duty to report accurate results, member of the forum or not. there is a rule agains personal attacks but accurate reporting on a company using the forum to do business is a duty as I see it. I would definately want to know if it were me so I could correct the faults. It is just a matter of time before some one like cash for Gold ends up on here, we need to know that.

I totally agree and appreciate it. I just kept the name of my dealing out for 2 reason. No bad blood in case I need him in the future and too, because of the rule. Otherwise completely understand.

As long as you have solid facts and not just an "opinion" of any company, than it should be allowed.

If you bash a company or individual without any solid facts in play, then I can see a violation in play.

    olddude:

So, you basically just categorized your product, and packaged it, and ewasted did everything else?

Who paid for the shipping? I am asking, because if he arranged all the shipping, I would think it is him. Just want to be clear on that so I can note it down.

    Olddude,
Thanks for the positive feedback! I will share this with our team, as positive feedback is great for morale!

In our defense, because ultimately the report card was for our company, on shipping you had said:
"used Fedex. shipping was prompt but it was a little pricey in my opinion

Regarding the other non A+ marks, what else couldve we done in order to obtain A+ all around?

    Thanks for the feedback!

PS: Posting a report card with out buyers now is virtually null and void now since they know what to expect with a transaction with you.

    Grade B+"

    - Pricey is a relative word, so the fedex rate was pricey compared to what? If you know of a cheaper method I am not opposed to it.

EW you are correct the shipping price grade should not have been on you, any thing you had control of on shipping should be rated A+

Posting reviews and leaving feedback is fine, in fact I'd like to see more members posting their personal reviews and feedback of their dealings with the buyers/sellers. Community is a very important and very powerful thing.

The only thing I'd like to make clear is that, one should only post a review/feedback (positive, neutral or otherwise) if they've personally had dealings with him/her. Bashing or trying to harm someone else's business won't be allowed (of course).

What you've done here olddude is fine and I believe many members here will appreciate the fact you took the time to share your experience. I expect to see the thanks count on your post to grow rather quickly.

When posting a review however, I'd like to ask that everyone NOT make the basis of the entire review on pricing, who pays more than who, I could get more from such and such than with so and so (the pricing factor is readily available by the buyers/sellers themselves or upon request). Everyone has to set their own pricing, and for their own reasons, business is business.

However there are far more factors to be considered when dealing with a buyer or seller than the price per pound or per unit alone. You have professionalism, efficiency, turn-over time, customer service & support, communication, location, etc the 'experience' as a whole.

actually I wasent the price in my case there are some out there with prices a little higher. in my case it was more the take charge attitude of EWs co. like I said I just sorted them and threw them in the box and taped it up. from that point it was like ok Dude go take a nap we got this handled. thanks again EW.

How about another sub-forum for feedback on dealings with buyers and/or sellers?

That's a possibility, we were actually just thinking about where the reviews should belong. I'd prefer that reviews were simply left as a reply to the buyer/seller threads themselves rather than in other areas of the forum. When prospects are viewing the threads there, they can scroll down and catch some reviews, and the buyers/sellers could quote the reviews and show them off in their main post. We'll have to give it some thought though, 'll seek some feedback from the members who are advertising in the buyers & sellers section as well.

I think your idea of leaving reviews in the buyers/sellers promo threads, is the best option.

Kind of like going to a site, typing in a company name, and getting all the reviews good and bad about a company.

depending on the board (this forum) software, Admin should be able to add individual feedback for all members, as you do not need to be a company to buy or sell things. I would welcome reviews y company of their customers experience too.

Good idea, other then some companies we sell to don't have an account here, so they don't have a thread... unless people that have experience with that seller create a thread for that company?
