market will take a cut back.

We are about to hit Chinese new year...it will last for 2 weeks. Prices on some items will drop from e-waste to steel and will most likely stay down until a few days after there new year so they can resend out price list and prices get "updated"

Now I will say this last year was the rabbit...this year is the year of the dragon so it could be another good year like it was when rabbit.

Good luck on steel falling. It will be up or sideways from what I am hearing and seeing. No flow yards are empty means prices spike Imo. Wait till the first and we will find out.

prices will drop but does not all ways mean that prices will drop at the scale. But every year during the Chinese new year prices drop and then come back up. You will see more or less the price change for dealer pricing than public.

    sarcasm

the market is not going plummet. anymore than the price of gold was going to spiral down to 1000/oz. it will continue to be a volatile market. with prices eventually climbing. we could see record prices later in the year.
