    Texas laws....nice.

I am slowly but surely planing on getting my paper work in order so I can buy base metals like copper, brass and AL. But looking over the Texas laws on it...its going to be FUN. For every metal other than steel for the most part you have to send a full report to Texas letting them know who what when where and why kind of deal.

I just worked on good pricing with a few refiners on my base metals (slowly been looking around) and its something I would like to start to move on.

Just a small rant but damm if you all want a good read....I can send you the link so you have a better idea on what it takes to buy that copper in Texas lmao

P.s anyone know of a program that will work good that will be able to help file per Texas state laws? If you know or been using of one...drop me a line as well.

Just wait until the Feds decide to create a national license to buy and sell copper. Like a CFC license, but issued by the IRS!

In the state of texas you dont need to be registered for E-waste. We will not buy other items that not E-waste for this reason...but I would like to grow and be able to take in more scrap. This is why I am looking into getting the paper work for it.

I would imagine the laws are far worse in the NE or left coast. I used to work in TX in the late 90s. I loved it and miss it

What kind of weight do you plan on shipping out on the base metals. I thought refiners are only interested in FTL shipments.

One thing about networking as much as I do....you find someone else who you make a plan with to load up the truck...he has alot but would want more...so he is going to pay me JUST under what the yard is going to give...so my prices are very good right out of the gate and ontop of that I have a TON of people who try to sell me copper all the time....I have to tell them that I cant buy it from them.

Yea I can buy and sell to who ever I want to. But to buy those metals from people who come to my shop there is a list of paper work that has to be filled out before hand. Anyway I am popping for for today. took off from work at 1pm today and going to relax some.
