One way or another it would be good to see some more networking going on with forum members. We are a creative bunch when it comes to getting a job done that at first seems unworkable and with a couple more heads brainstorming along with $$ could = some good paydays.
Always a good time when getting together with PTS...Last time around we ended up becoming a couple of Facebook Hoes and ate so much I couldn't move for the rest of the day. Got the chance to meet Cobre Collector a while back too. This young man was cool as a cucumber as he went toe to toe with some other bidders. Impressive to see he had done his homework and knew what his limits were as the bids exceeded the 1K mark and he was the one smiling when the hammer dropped.

What about a category similar to the metal removal services section except with a list (by state or area) of all the people who would be willing to go in on a larger deal with another scrapper should one come up? People could list what areas they would cover, how much cash they could offer, what equipment they have available, and what their areas of expertise are. Either make it paid only or at least have a required number of posts so you can tell if this person is reputable or an @$$hole based on their other posts. It would release the forum creators from liability because they're not directly involved. I know this would have really come in handy for me this week.

I understand what you are saying and it is a great idea. Farmers, Ranchers and others have been doing it for years. This forum has helped me over the past year. When I was not able to scrap because I was too sick I would still log in to read. Plain and simple it should boil down to numbers and be a win win for all. I've had to give jobs away because I did not have the equipment to get the job done. I was blessed many times over because I was not looking to make anything off of the deal. I am still not in a position to get some of the big stuff so I would benefit from a co op. Just remember some people have a different thought process and my not understand the benefit of this. A wise old man once told me" a poor man has poor thoughts and does poor things." I hope we can get something like this up and rolling. Thanks
still waiting on my first pm from this thread....LOL
