I have noticed "EPA Number" XXXXXXXXX on some websites and business cards. I would think that might give you preference on some of the gov bids etc. Has anyone invested the time in pursuing that? Is it worth it?

I can't give to much information on this particular subject, for the main fact that I dont know.
However, having and displaying an EPA number just gives your clients more of a reassurance that you will be recycling the material by EPA standards, which is some of the highest and strictest standards to keep the environment safe and clean for all inhabitants (humans, animals, etc)
Also, depending on what recycled product you are dealing in, EPA I am sure would be an requirement. Hopeful some members here can chime in and give you some more knowledge on the subject.
