self employment and the nessity of disiplen

as the economy continues to tank more and more folks will try scrapping and self employment, we see posted here often , the question, full time or part time arises.

any one can get by with beer money or ,bread money by scrapping, when they need a few bucks, but , to be a full time scrapper or any self business for that matter takes self disiplen few come buy naturally.

I am fortunate to be one of those that have to be busy all the time, and in my day 16 or 18 hour days were the norm for me. Even today with my health and age I have to put in 3 or 4 hrs a day doing something.

for those of you who have trouble with keeping busy, pretend you have a boss, make a schedule and let the schedule be your boss.

up at 7, begin work no later then 8

8 to 10 check your sources (craigs list etc.)

    10 t0 11:30 new phone contacts.

I don't need to go on you can fit the schedule to suit your needs, but, make the schedule and stick to it. If you do your business will grow.

Being a successful self employed person is a freedom most never get to enjoy.

    just my .02
