CLR is local and I used him just again yesterday. Good prices and located on my way home. My experience has been very good. I show up with parts sorted (CD drives in one box, power supplies in another, etc), he weighs them right in front of you, tallies the payment and it is done.

Relax, chris... people will be people, and its a capitalist market. neither one of you is forced to trade.

i have built a good relationship with CLR, and i prefer to sell locally. His business model makes it hard for him to set aside large chunks of time for individual customers. he does a lot of business with corporate clients in order to meet the minimums required to work with his processors. if he didnt work that way, he would not be able to offer the current market prices he does. He is also a family man, and has been accommodating to me and met me in his shop after hours, losing sleep just to help meet my schedule

If you plan to sell ewaste in north jersey, i would definitely try and arrange a time to meet with CLR. he has a lot to offer and can teach you more about your scrap. thats one of the most valuable things he can offer
