Well pics would help us give you an idea. Low grade are on average .12 per pound. Mother board are around 3 per pound. But you have to know when gold goes down as it has in the past few days the prices on boards goes down. Also alotta buyers right here on the forum

Yes take those out lol. looks all good to me. Some of the more experienced buyers would know better then me but them all look like server to me. Which is great money boards.

Alright, I will take them out tomorrow... Yea I am pretty sure they are all servers I got like 4 or 5 towers that looks like the ones i got pics of... I just never took the time the find a guy who buys this kind of stuff I guess I got to start looking,,,
but those circuit boards in the buckets what do they go for?(guestimation)

If they are indeed server boards prices for them 2 weeks ago was $4.30 per pound but gold went down over a grand in the past 2 weeks too.

awhile back I scrapped a whole truck load of computer servers , they weighed alot they came from a office building ,and I only got scrap value of prob 10-12 cents a pound... wish i could go back lol

I also scrapped these, I couldnt find a buyer they still worked... these also weighed a lot Each piece was over 30 pounds no hyperbole
I NEEEED to find a buyer for this type of stuff... I just cant keep holding on to stuff not enough room
Better to hold on to it untill you are certain you know what you are doing and who you are dealing with. As mentioned before we have several buyers here on the forum. The advantage of dealing with these buyers is if they do something bad to one of the forum memebers you will hear about it. Go to the buyers/sellers section and look at prices. Go to the electronic sections and start by reading the sticky threads and continue on reading from there.
There is as least one buyer in NJ on the forum. I ship my material to a buyer several states away and am happy with with how it works out even with shipping.
Figure out a couple of buyers you are interested in dealing with. Take some very good photo's of individual boards that represent what you have and send them to the buyers for estimates of value. If you follow my suggestions you will most likely come out far ahead in the end.
The last photo in your first post I believe are referred to as "back boards", if so they go for very good money. Best of luck, Mike.

First were do you live? 2nd go to the buyer section of this forum to find a buyer, ewasted will send you a shipping lable to send him the boards and will take the shipping cost out of what he owes you. You should be getting .25-.35 per lbs. for whole servers.

some places have photos of the different boards and what they pay. Have you read any of the threads at all, about scrapping computers?
are those top photos boards from telephone equipment ?

I had a couple of boxes of stuff just like pictured above. I took to the local scrap yard yesterday, they paid 15cents per lb. Low grade circuit board price. I am having trouble finding places that pay the prices that I see talked about on this forum, $2.00 to $4.00/lb. I cannot find any place around here in my area, Jackson, MS that pays those types of prices. If I factored in the cost of my time to scrap the computers apart, I probably would have been just as well off to just sell the whole computer towers and stuff at tin price, .08/lb. Scrap metal buyers around here do not seem to want to buy the gold finger memory sticks for some reason.

That's why you use some of the buyers from our forum, or leave the ewaste alone and let someone that knows how to do it, take care of it. Why waste the good stuff by throwing it in shred???

Urbanminer...have you looked in the Buyers section on the forum here that many of us have used? Last load I sent in weighed 80 pounds and paid $3 a pound after shipping. Easy $240 bucks or I could have done it your way and made $12, it's a no-brainer.

Hell I wouldnt use CLr..gave up on him long ago. Always acted like his **** was ice cream and his time more valuable than me and my little loads. Go with ewasted, that dude bends riught oiver backwards to help ya out.
