    missed opportunity?

    Had a chance to buy a newer washing machine for 10 bucks but passed up on it thinking i wouldn't get much more being i guessed it was about 150pds. Dont knnow if it couldve beeen striped and make some good money though any thoughts?

    Thought - Not worth $10 as scrap. MOST I'll pay is $1 and usually not even that.
    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    i pay $5 for them $7 if dropped off my scrap yards only 5 mins away

    Have never paid for one. Not worth it as far as hauling it and the ripping apart for 5-15 bucks depending on size. Now if it's a stainless steel restaurant stove then I could go 5 bucks.....maybe

    might coulda dropped it at a second hand store for 20 or more, even if they just wanted it for parts

    Cruise craigslist and see if you can find a guy buying them to repair.

    Or if you're like me and you had a load ready to go and a guy stops by wanting to buy it off you for $20 because he buys/repairs/sells them.
