    Old Analog House Phones

Are the boards in house phones worth anything. Well there is a mixture of plain and cordless phones. I sure hope so. I work at a casino/hotel that is about to remodel their hotel rooms and Im sure they are going to buy new telephone for each room. There is 236 room in the hotel with 2 phones in each room except for the suites. What do you guys and gals thing. By the way, Im new to this forum and just started scraping.

All curcit boards have value, what you call plain I would think they are the ones that plug into the wall (desk phone) have mostly low grade,.10-.20 per pound. The cordless, hand held phone will mostly have mid grade .50-1.00 per pound.

Yes there are usually lead weights in the base part of the old corded phones. and sometimes in the handset part also.

Also the real old ones had brass bells for the ringer. Some people collected the bells for better than scrap, selling to art type people.
Of course if you pick up the hand set and Lily Tomlin is on the other end saying "One ringy dingy", then you have Laugh In.
