ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, sorry, couldn't help it .

The sad truth is, if you handle that kind of weight the down stream should have already been set up.

I will tell a similar story. 3 years ago I offered a local scrap yard 1.50 per lb for mixed boards (clean brown and green ) the only stip was the mix had to be 40/60 green as he said they were.

I would sort only one gaylord at random to verify his percentages. He kept stalling me off with all kinds of excuses for over a year until the price dropped to 1$ per lb.

I offered to teach one of his guys to sort for max profit, he couldn't be bothered with that.

Finally 3 months ago he called me, we agreed on .35 when he got to a TL.

A month ago stopped I in to check the progress he had gained 3 gaylords for a total of 16 however, now the boards are not clean and no finger cards mem ect are making it in to the mix instead the last three boxes were filled with boards with plastic and steel still attached.

Would you still honor the deal.

He is obviously much smarter then me being a college graduate and a yard manager and all, and knew I would not notice the mix has changed.

This is not a reflection on TJ or all Yard owners. mcw
