Good Afternoon Everyone! I would like to know how much your scrap is selling for in your areas? Andy
roughly 175 nt for unprep n 2.35 lbs for copper. I get more but signed agreement not to share the details.
Depends on if it is non ferrous (copper, aluminum, brass, etc.) or ferrous (iron, steel, HMS, etc.). Each type of scrap metal is priced differently and there are also various grades of specific metals. For example, for copper scrap there is bare brite, # 1 copper, #2 Copper, etc. In steel scrap there is HMS, prepared steel scrap, unprepared steel scrap. All of these grades are priced differently. In addition, there are market fluctuations on a daily basis so metal scrap prices will vary from day to day and area to area.
