    Hello Everyone!

I was told to post an introduction here to please some of the viewers yesterday, so I'm obliging! I'm Jeremy and I'm 18, and my dad owns a heating and air conditioning company here in South Carolina. About a year ago, we worked out a deal where I would scrap any A/C units, compressors, coils, etc. that he brought home to help pay for college expenses, because it is near impossible to find a job here right now. I've become pretty efficient with doing this, but I'm looking at ways to maximize my profits, i.e. I've begun to look at opening compressors to remove the copper from them. If anyone has any advice, tips, etc. please feel free to send me a message! And happy scrapping, everyone.

When your dad is doing new installations on commercial projects you might get a load of ventilation ducts to sell as tin. Do you have a truck and/or trailer ?

I have gotten some ductwork before..but I didn't know it was tin. And yes, I have a truck, and a trailer. I just scrapped some radiators/steel/copper today, but I think I'm going to sit on the copper/aluminum for a while...the price is dropping too drastically right now. I'm hoping it will come back up around late July/early August, so I can get a lump sum to help pay for some college expenses.
