Hi Im Andrew Hillyer but go by TheRedDragon. And I have zero anything in the field of scrap metal. but I want to learn, and thats why im here.



I'm trying to learn more about scarp metal art. I'd like to try making the art myself. But stuck on a few thing. From what I have seen my best bet in just to jump right in but I still not sure were I can find scrap metal. I know places like old engines but could use a better under standing of that. And my big problem is what tools to use. I am just starting out with no real money to buy equipment. So what tools would be good for a beginner? For now I'd like to stay with brazing because I think it's a good starting point. But there are so many brands and types I can't find a good place to start. Any help you would give is very appreciated.
