Well, I already posted in this section but it wasn't a proper introduction. So let's try this again.
Been new here ,and to scrapping. I always new metal had value, but never cared to profit from it. Wasn't too long ago I was one of those guy's ya'll love, shoving the stupid broken washer and dryer to the curb hoping to wake up and find them gone by day break. Ha! now I got 4 sets sitting in the garage!! not to mention the water heaters and 2 side by side fridges!! Anyways, I have had my hours cut at work and things are looking like a possible layoff could be near, so I thought long and hard and thought "what can I do to make money now and not have to answer to some over paid jerk behind the desk who doesn't even know how to do his job?" Well that day I wound up replacing 2 commercial washers and dryers and 2 sets of residential washers and dryers in our facility and thought hmmm...."I wonder what those would go for scrap?" Well needless to say I was pleased and hooked!!! Well enough of me, just happy to have found this forum and have been getting alot of useful info here and a warm welcome from all. (Just incase ya'll are wondering I got $253.67 for those washers and dryers.)
Happy Scrapp'n and may we all profit well!
