    Hello From Minnesota

    Hey guys!!
I am 32, and have been scrapping pretty much all my life. I started like most of us with aluminum cans. I used to drive grandpas 420 JD mower to our house 6 miles away and found LOTS of cans. Now I have moved up to bigger and better things!! I have been helping a buddy of mine out for the past 2 years hauling pallets and scrapping. We have an 04 2500HD and a 19' trailer. It was spring cleanup here about a month ago. We picked up 3 FULL trailer loads from two very small towns, mainly appliances (washers, dryers, fridges, stoves.) Within 20min of being in town with the truck and trailer we had 4 people stop and ask if we wanted more!!! Good Times!!!

I am am also very much into e-scrap. I get all the electronics that my buddy gets. He says he "dont have time for those"..Nice.... I do!!! So I got all the printers, towers, VCRs, monitors ect....I take NOTHING to the landfill it ALL gets recycled. I have all the boards yet. I have LOTS!!! I do have local buyers for the boards, but will be shipping some boards to some buyers on here as well.
    Happy Scrapping!!

Its better to be scrapping and thinking of God than sitting in church thinking of scrapping

Before you sell your boards local, check the buyers prices here and see if you have some that are worth much more. Like the commercial on TV says, "it's all about the Benjamen's". Sounds like you have a great start, the answer to all your questions are here already, you just have to read, read.

It's always nice to hear of someone else on here who recycles EVERYTHING possible. All of my plastic goes to a recycler, glass is recycled, etc. I only throw away things that are not recyclable and I don't feel good about that even! It sounds like you are waist deep in scrap (which is a good thing) and you have the drive to research and learn so you will go far my friend!
