    Hello!

I am a complete newbie to scrapping but need the money. The only thing I have sold before are beer cans and one time helped with some aluminum.

Thanks for providing all the tips with the beginner threads! (still reading) Right now just going around the house and have taken apart 2 TVs and a CRT monitor.

Welcome to the forum. Please read some of the cautions in the threads about breaking down tv's and crt monitors. Hoss has some interesting experience with them. He is, I have no doubt, the biggest tv recycler on the forum.

Much to learn here if you take the time to read the old threads. It will make you more money if you do, Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

I've been reading for a couple days which is why I just joined the forum. Learned quite a bit already but if you could point me to any that would be great.

I have a 2002 two door Grand Am (messed up so it can get dirty) and need to use that until I can get a truck. My job sucks and I only make 7.25 p/hr for 5 hours a day. I work from 12pm to 5 pm but I always wake up at like 4am anyway. I think I can be the early bird but will lose out to the late nite guys.

I'll get what I can get.

I used to go to E. St Louis in the 70's it was not a nice place back then.

I will not point any one or two threads other than the sticky ones and the beginners section. I know that any one theat I would pick out might not be the one you could profit from the most. In fact the ones I have found most helpful were ones I would not have thought would be something I would find helpful. Its best if you are new to read all of them. Its not as much as you might think and well worth it. You will recognize opportunities you might otherwise walk right by. Best of luck, Mike.
